SCLERODERMA
Martin Photomask is a proud sponsor and supporter of The Scleroderma Foundation . Martin Photomask donates a percentage of our profits each year to help find better treatments, and eventually a cure, for the autoimmune disease scleroderma.
Our founder’s wife, Cyndy Martin, was afflicted in 2010. It was then that we began to learn about this rare, complicated disease. In 2012, her disease had progressed significantly, therefore she opted to enter a clinical trial with Dr. Richard K. Burt at Northwestern University, DIAD. The stem cell transplant program for autoimmune diseases is showing great promise and providing relief and hope too many patients with a variety of autoimmune diseases. It is our intention to provide access to this program to other people with scleroderma by donating funds to help patients in need.
To join us in this effort, we encourage you to learn more and donate using links above. Or, contact us and we would be happy to discuss our charity interests further.
LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA
Martin Photomask also continues our long standing tradition of supporting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). We sponsor at least one event each year to help in the fight against blood cancers. The mission of LLS is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. The treatments that have emerged as a result of LLS have crossed over from blood cancer to improve treatment of other cancers and even autoimmune diseases.
